Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Analyst to join our Business Intelligence and Analytics team in Kathmandu, Nepal. In this full-time role within the accounting and finance sector, you will analyze data and generate actionable business insights. You will collaborate closely with team members to support data-driven decision-making and reporting process.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business models, financial statements, and financial risks using quantitative and qualitative information.

• Conduct credit analysis and prepare detailed rating notes, analytical reports, and presentations for rating committees.

• Monitor the financial performance of assigned companies and industries.

• Conduct plant visits and participate in management meetings to assess business operations.

• Communicate with clients to collect necessary financial and operational information for rating assignments.

• Manage a portfolio of rated corporate clients under the supervision of senior analysts and team leaders.

• Prepare assignment schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks in coordination with Group Heads.

• Prepare quarterly review reports based on financial performance and business updates.

• Monitor economic developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes to evaluate their impact on clients.

• Prepare rating rationales, credit assessment reports, and press releases.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal analytical standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• CA qualification or CA pursuing status, as applicable to the organization's requirements.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and auditing.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
