Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Backend Developer Intern to join our development team. The intern will assist in developing, maintaining, and optimizing server-side applications, APIs, and databases while gaining hands-on experience with backend technologies and software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications and server-side logic.

• Design, develop, test, and integrate RESTful APIs.

• Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage data efficiently.

• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and technical issues.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other team members.

• Participate in code reviews and team discussions.

• Follow software development best practices, security standards, and version control procedures.

• Assist in testing, debugging, and deploying applications.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of programming concepts and object-oriented programming.

• Familiarity with at least one backend programming language, such as Python, JavaScript/Node.js, Java, PHP, or Java.

• Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

• Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods.

• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and work collaboratively.
