Action Nepal was established on 2000 A.D. with a view to develop the socioeconomic status of Nepalese people especially residing in rural area. MHPSS Technical Service, Bhotekoshi Flash Flood Response

Action Nepal was established in 2000 A.D. to improve the socioeconomic status of Nepali people, especially those living in rural areas. It works with deprived and marginalised communities, making the best use of local resources and technology.

Its work is organised in five thematic areas

Action Nepal, Neelkantha Municipality-03, Dhading, is implementing the "Nepal Bhotekoshi Flash Flood Response and Recovery Project ACT NPL 261" with financial support from DCA Nepal.

Under this project, Action Nepal invites technical and financial proposals from eligible agencies to provide Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) technical services to people and families affected by the Bhotekoshi flash flood, and to the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and livelihood support groups working to recover.

The selected agency will carry out the following tasks

The assignment lasts 3 months from contract signing and may be extended, depending on need, performance and available funds. The counsellor will be based in Galchi, Dhading.
