Senior School Mathematics Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Senior School Mathematics Teacher to teach students from Grades 7 to 10. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach both Optional Mathematics and Compulsory Mathematics, making lessons engaging, practical, and easy to understand.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Compulsory Mathematics and Optional Mathematics to students in Grades 7, 8, 9, and 10.
• Prepare and deliver effective lesson plans in accordance with the school curriculum.
• Explain mathematical concepts, formulas, and problem-solving techniques clearly.
• Conduct regular assessments, class tests, and examinations to evaluate students' progress.
• Provide additional guidance and support to students who require academic assistance.
• Prepare students for school examinations and board examinations.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active student participation.
• Monitor students' academic performance and provide constructive feedback.

Job Specification

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a relevant field.
• Relevant teaching experience at the secondary school level will be preferred.
• Strong command of both Compulsory Mathematics and Optional Mathematics.
• Ability to teach Mathematics to Grades 7–10.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Strong subject knowledge with effective teaching and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to students' academic development.
