Recovery Officer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Recovery Officer to join our team in Kathmandu, Nepal within the textiles, garments, and accessories industry. This full-time position focuses on managing collections and securing overdue payments to support overall business operations. You will utilize financial tracking and client interaction to facilitate successful debt recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor outstanding balances and track overdue accounts across client portfolios.

• Negotiate effective repayment plans with clients to recover overdue payments promptly.

• Conduct regular credit analysis to evaluate client creditworthiness and payment risks.

• Maintain comprehensive recovery records and financial tracking sheets using MS Excel.

• Communicate professionally with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

• Coordinate with internal finance teams to reconcile settled accounts and ledger entries.

Required Qualifications

• Strong negotiation skills to resolve payment delays effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Excel for managing data and collection logs.

• Prior experience working with Odoo ERP is preferred.

• Working knowledge of credit analysis principles.

• Relevant experience in debt recovery, credit control, collections, or accounts receivable.

• Experience in B2B, manufacturing, textile, trading, or similar industries will be preferred.

• Availability to work full-time on site in Kathmandu, Nepal.
