BTTM Program Coordinator

Job Description

Education:

• A Master's degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Travel and Tourism, or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in academic administration, program coordination, or the tourism and hospitality industry.
• Experience in university-level academic program coordination will be an added advantage.

Academic and Professional Competence:

• Sound understanding of the BTTM curriculum, university academic regulations, examination systems, and student assessment procedures.
• Ability to coordinate academic activities, manage faculty members, and ensure effective program delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MHM, MTTM, or an equivalent postgraduate qualification.
• Teaching experience in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
• Experience in university affiliation, academic quality assurance, and accreditation processes.
• Knowledge of international tourism trends, aviation, travel operations, and destination management.
• Experience in developing industry partnerships, internship programs, and institutional collaborations.

Industry Linkages and Collaboration:

• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with tourism industries, travel agencies, hotels, airlines, and other relevant organizations.
• Capability to develop internship opportunities, industry partnerships, MoUs, and collaborative program.

Professional Attitude and Commitment:

• Responsible, proactive, well-organized, and student-oriented, with a strong commitment to academic excellence.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, professional integrity, and effective program leadership.

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali.
• Strong leadership, team management, coordination, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, academic management systems, and documentation.
