Senior Quality Assurance

We are hiring a Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing test strategies, managing QA activities, ensuring product quality, and mentoring junior QA team members.

Responsibilities of the Candidate

Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test strategies.

Plan and manage testing activities across projects based on priorities, risks, and available resources.

Oversee functional, regression, API, and acceptance testing.

Support test environment setup, automation implementation, and exploratory testing.

Maintain test data, test documentation, and testing reports.

Identify, analyze, and resolve software quality issues in coordination with development teams.

Ensure QA standards, processes, and best practices are consistently followed.

Mentor and guide junior QA engineers and provide technical feedback.

Delegate testing responsibilities and support team members in problem-solving and decision-making.

Contribute to improving QA processes, organizational standards, and testing strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4–6 years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance.

Strong understanding of manual and automation testing.

Technical Skills & Preferred Qualifications

Programming

Java or JavaScript.

Automation Tools

Selenium, Cypress.

API Testing

Postman, Rest Assured.

CI/CD

Jenkins, GitLab Actions.

Version Control

Git.

Database

Basic SQL knowledge.

Experience in automating web and mobile applications.

Knowledge of security and performance/load testing tools.

Familiarity with project management and bug-tracking tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
