Operation Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee overall operations, international procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in pharmaceutical and medical equipment sourcing, particularly from China, India, and other international markets.

Responsibilities of the Candidate

Manage overall company operations, procurement, and supply chain activities.

Identify and establish relationships with international suppliers and manufacturers of pharmaceutical products, medicines, medical equipment, and surgical instruments.

Source products from China, India, and other international markets.

Negotiate pricing, product quality, payment terms, minimum order quantities (MOQ), and delivery conditions with international suppliers.

Manage import procedures, logistics, customs clearance, and regulatory documentation.

Coordinate with the Department of Drug Administration (DDA), customs authorities, and other relevant government agencies.

Develop and maintain supplier networks, distribution channels, and business partnerships.

Monitor inventory, warehousing, stock management, and product availability.

Identify new products, cost-effective sourcing opportunities, and business expansion prospects.

Prepare operational plans, budgets, performance reports, and procurement strategies.

Requirements

Proven experience in international sourcing and procurement, particularly from China and India.

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, and surgical instruments.

Practical understanding of Nepal's import procedures, customs regulations, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.

Ability to independently manage end-to-end procurement and import operations.

Preferred Candidate

Established contacts with international pharmaceutical and medical equipment manufacturers.

Experience in identifying and evaluating overseas suppliers.

Ability to independently handle procurement and import operations.

Commercially driven, proactive, and capable of achieving operational targets.

Strong leadership, coordination, and decision-making abilities.
