Job Description
Record daily financial transactions in Tally accurately and on time
Maintain sales, purchase, receipt, and payment vouchers
Enter and manage bank transactions and cash entries
Reconcile bank statements with Tally records
Maintain ledger accounts and update balances regularly
Generate basic financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance)
Handle accounts payable and receivable tracking
Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices and bills
Assist in GST/VAT or tax-related entries and reports (as per company requirements)
Identify and correct data entry errors or discrepancies
Support senior accountant during audits and financial closing
Job Specification:
- +2 / Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Good salesmanship and ability to influence customers at the counter
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime
- Understanding of fundamental accounting principles (debit, credit, journal entries)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer operations
- 1β3 years of experience in accounting or data entry (freshers with strong skills can apply)
- Familiarity with invoicing, billing, and ledger maintenance
- Basic knowledge of VAT/PAN or local taxation system (preferred)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good numerical and analytical ability
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Basic communication skills in English and Nepali
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Organized, disciplined, and responsible work attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting processes
