Job Description
Asst. HR Manager is responsible for hiring and training best candidates for Daraz to support its fast growth. He or she will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and policies as well as for creating a work environment where employees can grow into their best professional and personal selves.
Responsibilities:
- Recruiting staff – this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates
- Assisting with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Working with the MD, HR Manager and CFO to develop and implement HR/company policies, pay scale, reimbursements and so on
- Preparing, developing and implementing performance management as well as performance evaluation policies and procedures. Designing rewards and incentives system to motivate employees
- Preparing employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
- Administering payroll and maintaining employee records
- Building and maintaining relationships with major colleges/universities and societies to facilitate hiring
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- You need to be creative, flexible and have a start-up spirit. You enjoy challenges and are
- Hungry to make a difference in Nepalese e-commerce.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably with specialization in HR (or related subjects)
- 1-2 year of experience working in HR Department in a leading firm
- Knowledge of HR laws and policies of Nepal
- Maintains excellent writing and language skills. International experience is highly valued
- Enjoys working with people, and building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders
