Job Description

• Must have proven experience working in the cement industry, particularly in managing heavy vehicles and mobile equipment used in plant operations.• Oversee maintenance and operation of heavy vehicles such as dump trucks, loaders, excavators, forklifts, and transit mixers.• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules for all automotive equipment.• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in vehicles and ensure timely repairs.• Ensure maximum availability and reliability of mobile equipment to support plant and mining operations.• Monitor fuel consumption, lubrication, and overall performance of vehicles to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, spare parts usage, and equipment history.• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.• Coordinate with procurement for spare parts and inventory management.• Supervise workshop staff, mechanics, and operators to ensure quality work and safe practices.• Implement best practices for fleet management and cost control.• Support equipment selection, inspection, and commissioning of new vehicles and machinery
