The JobWe are searching for a hands-on Engineering Manager who understands people, business, technology, and customers’ needs. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can identify and successfully implement improvements in engineering processes, tools, and architecture to enable the delivery of key initiatives.What You Will Be Doing:β’ Manage a team of engineers.
β’ Manage teams that care about code quality, test automation, and continuous delivery.
β’ Ensure that we develop, test, and release software that scales quickly and reliably.
β’ Work closely with the engineers to improve process and code quality.
β’ Drive the culture of empowerment, ownership, and accountability.
β’ Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, and leadership to build a world-class product.
β’ Position the engineering team for success through training, mentorship, and leadership.
β’ Promote the engineering teamβs growth and development technically and professionally.
β’ Drive the hiring process by closely collaborating with HRD on the recruitment process as well as the employee onboarding process.
β’ Managing employee performance appraisal, monitoring time, and other personal matters.
β’ Own team’s delivery, performance management and people management aspect
β’ Participate, collaborate & contribute in quarterly planning and capacity planning
β’ Groom and mentor Members of Technical Staff in the area of Software Engineering, Communication and People Management.

Your Skills and Experience:β’ Minimum, a Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
β’ A strong software engineering background.
β’ Minimum 12 years of work experience, among 5+ years of experience in technology, architecture, and managerial roles.
β’ Minimum 4 years of people management and performance management experience.
β’ Experience with Agile software development methodology.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally.
