Job Description

Overall Job of Finance Department

  • Preparation of the accounting vouchers as per applicable laws and standards and update the approved voucher into accounting software.
  • Prepare monthly payroll of the staffs of the company and project in compliance with HR Manual. Get the payroll approved and make necessary accounting entries.
  • Prepare and update the fixed assets register, Inventory Register regularly.
  • Prepare receipt and payment register and update it on regular basis
  • Make payments to the contractors, suppliers and other parties as per agreement after approval of internal memo and fulfilling necessary procedure and ensure that all the Company’s expenditure is correctly authorized and accounted
  • Ensure that tax returns, estimated tax returns, TDS returns etc are filed and paid tax within statutory deadlines.
  • Preparation and financial statements and get it audited on time.
  • Prepare annual budget and submit to BOD for approval and prepare budget variance analysis on monthly basis.
  • Formulate the control system so that all expenditures are made within the budget approved by the project financing Bank
  • Prepare and update Debtor, Creditor, Bank and Cash reconciliation on periodic basis.
  • Review the financial statements to make them error free and reliable
  • Periodical reporting to senior management
  • Other tasks as directed by the senior management

Administrative works

  • Assist in preparation of the Admin guidelines and HR policies.
  • Responsible for smooth operation of  day to day Administrative works
  • Responsible for HR related matters
  • Ensure proper use of office resources and safety and security of office premises.

Job Specification

  • Responsible for Finance & Accounts of the company
  • Must have the ability to handle Administrative works and HR functions
  • Must have good Communication & Leadership Skills

Min. Qualification:

  • CA or MBS completed

Experience: up to 3 years experience in the related field. Preference will be given for experience in Hydro Power Industries

Finance Manager

Designation: Finance Manager

Working Location: Kathmandu

Job Description:

Accounting entries and Documentation 

  • Prepare accounting vouchers as per applicable accounting standards, Income Tax Act and other applicable legal requirements, supported with appropriate and adequate documents.
  • Maintain and update approved vouchers in the accounting software.
  • Classify vouchers as per the nature of transactions and file them with proper coding and indexing.
  • Prepare monthly payroll of the staffs of the company and project in compliance with HR Manual. Get the payroll approved and make necessary accounting entries.
  • Prepare and update the fixed assets register, Inventory Register regularly.
  • Prepare receipt and payment register and update it on regular basis
  • Make payments to the contractors, suppliers and other parties as per agreement after approval of internal memo and fulfilling necessary procedure.

Tax returns and Tax Payment 

  • Filing Tax returns, estimated tax returns, TDS returns etc. on or before statutory deadlines.
  • Make arrangement to pay tax on or before statutory deadlines.
  • Financial Statements preparation and Audit
  • Prepare financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and other applicable legal frameworks.
  • Get the financial statement audited on time.

Financial Planning, Analysis and Control 

  • Prepare annual budget and submit to BOD for approval and prepare budget variance analysis on monthly basis.
  • Formulate the control system so that all expenditures are made within the budget approved by the project financing Bank.

Coordination, Negotiation and Dealing 

  • Deal with the Company’s Bank in respect of payments and receipts.
  • Coordinate with Internal auditors, statutory auditors so that the financial statements are audited within time.
  • Manage all external contracts and to ensure that all the Company’s expenditure is correctly authorized and accounted.

Financial Review and Reconciliation 

  • Prepare and update Debtor, Creditor, Bank and Cash reconciliation on periodic basis.
  • Review the financial statements to make them error free and reliable

Others 

  • Periodical reporting to senior management
  • Other tasks as directed by the senior management

Job Specification:

  • Must have strong knowledge in Finance & Accounts of the company
  • Must have good Communication & Leadership Skills
  • Should have excellent computer skills
  • Able to work under pressure

Min. Qualification:

  • CA(ICAN/ICAI) or MBS completed

Experience: For CA, fresher or experience up to 3 years and for MBS- minimum experience of  3 years). Preference will be given for those with working experience in Hospitals.

Designation: Audit Manager

Working Location: Kathmandu

Job Specification:

  • Having experience in Statutory/ Internal Audit/Tax
  • Responsible for organizing and managing internal audits according to audit plans
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Management of consultancy
  • Should have excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of auditing and strong analytical skills
  • Should have good leadership and organizational skills

Min. Qualification:

  • Semi qualified CA

Experience: up to 3 years experience in the related field.
