Samari Utthan Sewa (SUS) is a Nepali NGO dedicated to uplift poor, landless, women and other disadvantages and marginalized communities, and it is now seeking qualified Nepali citizens for the following positions.
Position: Finance Officer

Job Specification
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting with strong knowledge of accounting software and bookkeeping
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position in finance/accounting
• Strong communication skill in Nepali and English & ability to work well under pressure
Job Description
The Finance Officer is responsible for the overall financial control and monitoring of SUS including,
• Conducting financial planning, budgeting, reporting and follow-up
• Managing the financial accounting routines
• Managing contracts and other financial commitments
• Ensuring compliance with donor requirements, applicable laws and procedures
• Monitoring internal financial controls and perform internal audit whenever necessary
Contract period: one (1) year with possibility of extension. Employment salaries and benefits are according to the policies of SUS
