Restless Development Nepal is seeking dedicated young people to volunteer, gain career skills, and contribute to community development projects in with the International Citizen Service (ICS) Programme.

ICS provides young people an opportunity to develop advocacy skills alongside other young leaders from Nepal and the UK. Volunteers are placed in pairs and provided training and support for a 10 weeks stay in rural communities around Kathmandu Valley. Teams lead education and life-skills sessions, collaborate on community activities and develop a plan to lead similar projects back home.

Volunteer Team Leader

  • Age 23 – 35
  • Minimum of 10 +2 education, fluent in English
  • Enthusiastic about motivating and supporting a team of volunteers
  • Committed and excited to live and work in a rural community for 10 weeks

Volunteer

  • Age 18 – 25
  • Minimum of 10 +2 education, basic level English
  • Passionate about being a role model in schools and communities
  • Committed and excited to live and work in a rural community for 10 weeks
