Position Title : International Consultant – Camp Coordination and Camp Management

Duty Station : Kathmandu, Nepal

Classification : Consultant, Grade OTHE

Type of Appointment : Consultant, 3 months with possibility of extension

Estimated Start Date : As soon as possible

Reference Code: CON 2017/18

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Education

• Master’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Human Rights/ Law,
Architecture, Engineering, Disaster Management, Conflict Management or a related field from
an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience; or
• University degree in the above fields with seven years of relevant professional experience.

Experience

• Experience in camp coordination and/or camp management and capacity building, and in
convening and facilitating CCCM trainings and workshops.
• Experience in developing and implementing training projects or programmes.
• Experience in developing national level contextualized and tailored CCCM training packages.
• Experience in working group coordination and humanitarian response within the UN Common
System.
• Excellent in facilitation and analytical skills.

Languages

Fluency in English is required.
