Basic Information:
Position: Assistant Manager
Business Unit/Division: Progeochem (PGC) – Accounts
Reports to: Head – Accounts
Location: Birgunj, Nepal
Principal Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the overall finalization of PGC Accounts & Finance
- Prepare and ensure the book of account as per NAS & other statutory requirements
- Responsible to coordinate with banks for finance related matters & monitor to minimize bank interest cost & penalty
- Assist, guide and mentor team members in achieving the timeline target
- Responsible for daily PL Account & monthly MIS and other required report from SAP
- Monthly comparison & analysis of actuals Vs Biz plans & discuss with FD and Sr. Manager
- Income Tax Assessment & Forex Hedging & Insurance
- Timely completion of project accounts
- Successful implementation of SAP in PGC.
- Use SAP for every process and reporting of regular nature
- Ensure no payment shall be made more than the limit of administrative budget
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Timely completion of Statutory Audit, Internal Audit and Physical Verification
- Ensure timely communication and escalation of matters concerning Accounts
- Ensure Staff Members are well groomed, well oriented, trained and coached on a regular basis to increase efficiency and productivity
- Develop and implement an Annual Action Plan/Work Activity Calendar
- Hold meetings and interaction sessions every month and share outcomes to the Senior Management Team
