Data Analyst

The role
We are looking for a Data Analyst with excellent analytical skills to directly contribute towards the growth of our People & Culture organization by assisting with data driven people related decisions. The mission of the People Operations & Effectiveness team is to provide data-driven insights and strategic direction regarding our people and culture that are compelling and actionable to P&C leadership. More specifically, the team is responsible for advanced analytics, workforce listening, strategic workforce planning, internal and external benchmarking, and data storytelling to fuel People related strategies. As part of what we do, we have a lot of raw data & information around people, teams, performance and culture. Reporting to the Head of People Operations & Effectiveness, the Data Analyst will be responsible for interpreting data & information using various data analysis tools and techniques to derive meaningful insights, facts and trends that will work as a crucial supplement in decision making.
Job Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the Data Analyst are as follows:
- Pull, compile, arrange, and analyze data from multiple sources to produce insights with workforce information.
- Use raw data to perform direct analysis, reporting and data visualization.
- Explain analyzed data in terms of:
- What has happened and is happening? Spot trends, challenges, and opportunities.(Descriptive)
- Find the best course of action for a given problem. (Prescriptive)
- What nuggets exist in data? (Exploratory).
- What will happen in the future? (Predictive)
- Analyze and identify trends in reports and dashboards to assist in insights delivery, problem solving, and analysis.
- Design and develop data insights presentations, dashboards, and scorecards through translation of stakeholder needs into data-driven solutions.
- Report findings to the P & C Leadership team.
Requirements
Skills
- Well versed in gathering, analyzing and interpreting data. Understands business.
- Proficient in using spreadsheet applications, data visualization tools, statistical Analysis tool.
- Knowledge of Database, SQL, scripting, programming.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and collaboration. Attention to detail, methodical and confident.
Qualification & Experience:
- 3+ years experience in similar domain
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Business or IT
