The Rural Poor Stimulus Fund (RPSF): “Supporting COVID-19 Recovery through Accelerated Private Investment in Agriculture (APLA)” project is executed by Agricultural Development Bank Ltd (ADBL) under the grant support of International Fund of Agricultural Development (IFAD). The Project is being implemented in Province 2, 3 and 5 with the aim to contribute to the national priorities on agriculture in the context of COVID-19 both in terms of expanding production for food security and in driving rural economic recovery by accelerating access to finance through Kishan Card and Kishan Mobile App, that has been identified as high priority services to small farmers by GON in its current annual budget and Programme, and to increase agricultural advisory and technical service through expansion of digital agriculture services.
RPSF-APIA invites application from qualified Nepalese professionals for the following positions.
1. Position: Digital Financial Expert
Number of Vacancies: 1
Duty Station: PMU with frequent field visit to project area
Required Qualification and Work Experience: Master’s degree in Computer Studies, Information Management, Agricultural Sciences, Business Studies, Economics or equivalent with at least 2 years’ experience in digital financial services or Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience.
2. Position: Agriculture Value Chain Financing Expert
Number of Vacancies: 1
Duty Station: PMU with frequent field visit to project area
Required Qualification and Work Experience: Master’s degree in Agriculture/Business Studies, Finance, Economics or equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience in agriculture value chain development or Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ experience.
3. Position: Supply Chain Coordinator
Number of Vacancies: 1
Duty Station: PMU with frequent field visit to project area
Required Qualification and Work Experience: Master’s degree in Agribusiness Development, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience in supply chain development or Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ experience.
4. Position: Supply Chain / Business Development Officer
Number of Vacancies: 5
Duty Station: Province Offices with frequent field visit to project area
Required Qualification and Work Experience: Master’s degree in Agribusiness Development, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent with at least 3 years’ experience in supply chain development or Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience.
5. Position: Digital Financial Officer
Number of Vacancies: 5
Duty Station: Province Offices with frequent field visit to project area
Required Qualification and Work Experience: Master’s degree in Computer Studies, Information Management, Agricultural Sciences, Business Studies, Economics or equivalent with at least 1 year experience in digital financial services or Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ experience.
6. Position: Supply Chain / Field Facilitator
Number of Vacancies: 30
Duty Station: Respective Branch office as designated by the project
Required Qualification and Work Experience: 10+2 completed or technical agriculture education from recognized institute or equivalent with at least 2 years of working experience.
