A leading national level finance company, Class ‘C’ licensed institution from Nepal Rastra Bank seeks job application from the competent, highly energetic, self-motivated Nepalese candidates for the following position at Head Office.
Job Title: Head-Accounts & Finance Department
Job Description:
- Providing and interpreting financial information for statutory and strategic decision-making procedures;
- Formulating strategic and long-term financial plans coordinating with credit & operation department;
- Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk;
- Managing a company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
- Liaising with auditors and central bank inspection teams to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
- Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the Inland Revenue, Nepal Rastra Bank;
- Prepare operational and risk reports for management analysis;
- Oversee the internal control functions, including reviewing the annual work plans and budgets, presenting potential new areas of risk.
Minimum Requirement
- Qualified Accountants (CA) with minimum Bachelor’s degree in management or equivalent degree from recognized university. Preference shall be given to post graduates in management studies along with CA.
- Minimum 3 years’ work experience in related area of banks and financial institutions (financial management and risk management).
- Very much familiar with Central Bank Directives and Financial Reporting Standards.
- Age not exceeding 40 years in case of male and 45 years in case of female as of first date of vacancy published.
- Smart user of Microsoft office applications and Strong communications (English & Nepali) and interpersonal skills.
