Job Description

  • Create and develop a long-term plan and strategy to grow FMCG (and related categories)
  • Achieve business targets, have the ability to use short term tactics without losing sight of long terms goals
  • Campaign management – working with teams to identify opportunities to run category sales promotion campaigns
  • Category analysis: proficient in analysis (especially using data on MS Excel) to identify growth areas. Execution of created plans or strategies
  • Ownership over dMart (Daraz’s core FMCG section) and responsibility to drive this key battle
  • Adopt and implement regional best practices related to FMCG categories
  • Manage a team of Key Account Managers. Develop and coach team
  • Ownership and responsibility to drive initiatives such key seller/brand acquisition, identification of assortment gaps and filling these
  • Working closely with Digital/Marketing/Onsite teams to drive category sales. At the same time, manage and optimize marketing spends for the category
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external teams, stakeholders in order to drive category growth. Including but not limited to cross-functional teams, and regional teams internally, and brand managers, business owners, larger importers, etc. externally.
