M&E Data Officer

Role overview
- Oversee the overall data management of the project and ensure quality monitoring data is collected timely, critically analyzed, validated, and reported.
- Develop data collection tools, templates, and methodologies to collect project required data and report.
- Lead on collecting dis-aggregated data and ensure processes related with data management are in line with the donor requirement and compliance.
- Ensure pre and post-test evaluations are administered with primary actors from project interventions and feed them into appliable log frame indicators.
- Ensure gender lens applied during data analysis and provide recommendations accordingly.
- Ensure data confidentiality is maintained throughout the project activities especially monitoring and evaluation activities.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Essential
- At least Bachelor’s Degree in social science/ Management or other relevant field of study with 2 years of project data management, reporting and implementation experience. Preference will be given to the one who has experience working in GBV related project.
- Fluent in English and Nepali language (writing and speaking)
Knowledge/qualifications:
Knowledge and experience of the data management, data analysis, reporting and information dissemination.
Experience:
- Experience of writing success stories that show impact of the project activities.
- Experience on report writing.
- Proven experiences working in diverse and multicultural team.
Skills/Abilities:
- Activity planning, facilitation, and planning/follow-up skills
- IT (MS office) proficiency
- Proficiency in excel especially working with data and conducting analysis.
- Able to frequently travel.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working with/as volunteer.
- Ability to understand and speak local language of the district/community.
- Experience of developing IEC materials

Step 3
When you have submitted your application, you will receive an email inviting you to complete two assessments which focus on how you process information and what your work approach is.
You will be shown instructions and example questions prior to the assessments to help you increase your familiarity with them. You will also have access to a short profile report on completion of the assessment. Your application will be reviewed by our Resourcing Team when you have completed these assessments.
