Position: Senior technical Coordinator for BRC-IFRC
Qualification: Master’s degree in social science, rural development, development studies, disaster management or other relevant field from recognised university/institution
Experience: 07-10 years of experience working in DRR for large, multi-year donor funded programmes in the humanitarian and development sector.
Responsibilities: The Senior Technical Coordinator will be responsible to support NRCS for implementation of high-quality projects BRC supported projects by bringing technical synergy across all projects, providing technical backstopping for timely and effective implementation of all project activities. This position will act as overall technical focal person at BRC for providing technical guidance to programme team for DRR-CCA, resilience programming and disaster climate risk governance across all its projects. During the course, the position is required to liaise with relevant state and non-state actors in order to obtain strategic support necessary for the pursuit of programmatic goals.
