Aakash Capital Ltd. is an independent merchant banker licensed by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) that renders investment banking and investment management services. The company is seeking a diligent, dedicated, proficient and self-motivated individual for the position of Chief Executive Officer(CEO).
Position: Chief Executive Officer
Job Responsibilities:
- Take a lead in a management of Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Custodial Services and Book Building among others;
- Enforce adherence to regulatory provisions, local laws, & other legal compliance relating to Capital Merchant Banking Nepal;
- Develop a sound customer base for all segments of Capital/Merchant Banking business;
- Develop strategic plans, institutional capacity and oversee its smooth implementation ensuring their alignment with short-term & long-term objectives;
- Ensure that new products/services are thoroughly screened before granting approval to ensure market stability;
- Maintain professional network with financial regulatory authorities to keep with the developments in the capital market;
- Make high-quality investment decisions to advance business and generate returns ;
- Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solution & improvements;
- Build a sustainable relationship with key partners, employees, clients, and stakeholders;
- Report to the Board of Directors (BOD) and achieve targets.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Master’s Degree in Finance or related fields;
- Professional experience in the field of Finance, Banking, and Capital markets;
- Proficiency in stock analysis: technical, fundamental and behavioral;
- Excellent negotiation, communication(both written and oral), interpersonal skills;
- Good professional judgement with quick decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in MS application suite.
