The Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD) is a trans-national disaster aid alliance that works to facilitate cooperation and understanding between governments, private companies and NGOs in the Asia Pacific region.
A-PAD Liaison Office in Nepal is implementing (Establishment of a Multi-sector Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction to support resiliency of disaster-prone communities in Nepal) for establishing a multi-sector platform for disaster response in Nepal, the project supports the resiliency of disaster-prone communities by improving capacities and information dissemination system to optimize resources. Our goal is Disaster Risk Reduction by establishment of a multi-sector platform, strengthening disaster response capability, and improving community resiliency for disaster preparedness. The program districts are Kathmandu, Sunsari, Udayapur, and Dhankuta.
A-PAD Liaison Office in Nepal is currently seeking applicant for following positions:
Country Coordinator
Basic requirements for submission of application:
- Master’s degree in public administration, social science, management, or other related fields.
- At least 6-7 years’ experience in project management in the field of disaster risk reduction, humanitarian assistance, development, or other relevant experience.
Position: Admin and Finance Officer
Basic requirements for submission of application:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, CA/ACCA, or equivalent
- More than 3-4 years’ experience in Finance/Accounts/Administration, with excellent language skills in English
