The organization is looking for competent and qualified candidates for the following positions for it’s several ongoing and upcoming Hydropower Projects.
Position:- Asst. Project Manager – 2 no.
Location:- Hydropower Based (Taplejung)
Reporting:- Project Manager
Asst. Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating with project manager, concerned clients and consultants, preparing BOQ for the projects, allocating and monitoring human resources, planning and monitoring CPM for the projects, coordinating with site execution team, quality, time and cost control, billing and other project documentations. In addition, Asst. Project Manager will also be responsible for coordination with Operations Managers & functional managers like Assets & Equipment, Procurement and Finance. Manage the work fronts as per schedule
Required Qualification:
- Must have Bachelor Degree/ Master Degree shall be preferred in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 1 years of direct experience as Asst. Project Manager and 2 years’ experience as work front in charge and at least 5 years field experience in hydropower construction within Nepal. Preference shall be given to candidates having completed a single hydropower project from beginning to closure of Projects.
Job Description:
- Strong understanding of project management, financial management, and leadership qualities.

- Proficient in MS Project, MS Office applications, Auto CAD drawings, Land development, SWDTM etc.
Position: QA/QC Manager -2 no.
Location:- Hydropower Based (Taplejung)
Reporting:- Asst. Project Manager/Project Manager
QA/QC Manager will be responsible for quality control of all the civil engineering works in construction site and ensures the quality of the site installations is consistent with the company’s policy requirements together with national and international standards and the customer’s specifications.
Required Qualification:
- BE in Civil/Diploma in civil engineering
- Minimum 4 years of work experience
Job Description:
- Implement the QA/QC management system at site
- Coordinate with the customers representative on all quality matters
- Coordinate with quality inspections with all the site subcontractors engineers and work front In charge and coordinate all nondestructive testing on site
- Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors
- Co-ordinate and conduct different testing procedure.
- Should have knowledge about the IS code, BS, ASTM & other relevant international codes.
- Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes, standards & specifications.
- Participate in the site internal and external site quality audits
- Control all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action
- Ensure all quality control
- Ensure all quality assurances/test required for approving IPCs monthly bills in time in close co-ordination with Billing Engineers or at least have completed a project pf hydropower as QA/QC in charge which will not be less than 3 years.
Position: Billing Engineer/Cost Controller – 2 no.
Location:- Hydropower Based (Taplejung)
Reporting:- Project Manager
Billing Engineer will be responsible for preparing bills for payments and performing the estimation of quantities along with order of materials.
Required Qualification:
- Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, other MS office applications, land Development, SWDTM, & ETAB. and reporting skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in preparing IPC in hydropower projects (surface as well as underground work) preference from beginning till to the closure of project.
Job Description:
- Get the bills certified from the consultant/client, prepare & process sub contractor bills
- Check bills raised by the subcontractors. This includes on-site verification of measurement & verification of rates with contract with the concerned.
- To process it as per the protocol of the company.
- Review of bills of quantities and item lists
- Value engineering to achieve functionality, safety, speed of execution and quality at lower cists by evaluation of different options
- Proficient in preparing executed work record sheets, approval of the same from concerned & prepare IPCs.
- Proficient in preparing separated variation under-quantity variation as well as item variation.
- Co-ordinate with all the concerned engineers, managers, project managers & quality control engineers, managers, project managers & quality control engineer or manager in house & representatives from consultant/client to prepare & include all necessary supporting document for IPCs & subsequent approval from concerned.
- Should have full knowledge about JMS and record sheet.
- Proficient in rate analysis and variation orders process.
Position: Tunnel Engineer – 2 no.
Location:- Hydropower Based (Taplejung)
Reporting:- Site In charge/Asst. Project Manager
Tunnel Engineer will be responsible for monitoring survey equipment, team mobilization, supporting activities, drilling patterns, loading explosive, safety, mucking, report keeping for the blasting work. Supervising for blasting works, guiding to use equipment for tunnel works & manage the team.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor or Diploma level with at least 7 years of experience in tunnel works
Job Description:
- Planning and managing the team.
- Knowledge about methodology of blasting/ knowledge about explosive used for blasting.
- Knowledge about equipment’s used for tunnel works.
- Good knowledge of occupational health & safety.
- Good knowledge of powder factor.
- Good command in site management, method improvement, quick decision making capacity.
Position: Senior Engineers – 2 no.
Location:- Hydropower Based (Taplejung)
Reporting:- Asst. Project Manager
Senior Engineer will be responsible for carrying out and delivering practical engineering solutions for assigned projects. S/he will be responsible on projects for planning, cost control, supervision, material, contract administration, quality, safety, quantity surveying and timely delivery.
Required Qualification:
- Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 4 years demonstrated experience in a hydro power construction
- Proficiency in MS Project, other MS Office applications, and reporting skills
Job Descriptions:
- Carry out supervision of the construction of hydropower structures, as required.
- Review designed & give input on optimization for the best & quick & short construction methodology for civil components of hydropower and other infrastructure facilities.
- Coordinate with the Consultant/Client as per requirement to ensure designed construction quality including time and cost control.
Position: Quantity Surveyor – 2 no.
Location:- Hydropower Based (Taplejung)
Reporting:- Asst. Project Manager
Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out detailed quantity estimations of different structures/items as per drawings. S/he will be preparing Bill of Quantities of hydropower projects and estimation of tentative resources requirements like human, material & equipment requirements for construction works.
Required Qualification:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of work experience in quantity surveying. Experience in hydropower project shall be preferred.
Job Descriptions:
- Preparing Bill of Quantities.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, AutoCAD and SWDTM/ land development shall be preferred for hydropower projects.
- Good knowledge in the quantity estimation both underground & surface.
- Should be able to calculate quantity of concrete, rebar, excavation with good command in structural drawing & BBS.
Position: Surveyor – 2 no.
Location:- Hydropower Based (Taplejung/Myagdi)
Reporting:- Asst. Project Manager/Project Manager
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying and Geomatics Engineering from a reputable University;
- A professional or technical diploma with additional 2 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the education requirements outlined above;
- A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience, related to hydropower.
- Proficient in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel);
- Knowledge and skills in using Auto CAD/GIS/CIVIL 3D/SWDTM is required.
Job Description:
- Document the results of surveys, including the shape contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features;
- Review the calculations of heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain;
- Prepare documents of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and works related to surveys;
- Review the fixed points for use in making maps, using geodetic and engineering instruments.
- Contour survey of surface works and interpolate the survey data in AutoCAD with CIVIL3D/SWDTM.
- Undertake land/ topography/ hydrographic survey using appropriate survey equipment and technology.
- Analyze data using plan, profile, sections and software such as AutoCAD, land development, SWDTM and other as appropriate.
- Prepare topographic drawing plan, L-section, X-section etc.
- Check and verify control points, traverse and update the data as required.
- Check line and levels at the construction site and conduct joint survey as required.
- Check or audit the survey works done by others whenever required.
- Report any deviation observed on survey data to PM and update as necessary.
- Prepare survey reports and other progress reports.
- Prepare by own self or supervise preparation of any kind of field survey works and supervise keeping records of all data, records, and documents.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the PM/APM.
