Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Biratnagar has been working on disability & health sector since 1990 and implementing inclusive physical rehabilitation project for the delivery of physical rehabilitation services to people with physical disabilities status of people with disability in the partnership with various government agencies, national and International NGOs for prosthetics and orthotics services. CBRB is seeking qualified candidates for the following post.
Prosthetist & Orthotist (P&O Poisition-1) based at CBR Biratnagar with frequent field visit to working district.
Qualification & experiences
- At least Diploma in prosthetics & orthotics from a recognized university. .
- Minimum one year of experience in clinical prosthetics and orthotics service delivery.
- Proven clinical skills in managing different types of disabilities.
- Added value would be the certification on Wheelchair Service Training Package (WSTP) in basic level.
- Excellent in coordination and facilitation skills.
- Experience in disability related project and initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake measurement, fabrication, production and delivery of P&O device.
- Participate in outreach activities in the communities for P&O service delivery.
- Ensure proper documentation of P&O services delivered.
- Ensure effective coordination with CBR team for effective implementation of multidisciplinary approach.
- Report to P&O unit in charge in the close coordination of sub-ordinate.
