Job Description
- Jointly working with the leadership team to chalk out a growth strategy and business plan for the company to meet its vision and goals
- Building out a robust sales and commercial strategy for the company
- Driving the business’s annual strategy, budget and planning exercises
- Provide oversight and guidance to cross-functional project teams, planning and executing complex projects across multiple stakeholders and simultaneously to enable the launch of new projects and processes.
- Support the strategic planning process, the annual, quarterly, and monthly rhythm of business by designing, creating, and providing in-depth business analytics.
- Drive operational efficiencies by deeply understanding the business teams concern and their workflow. Use big data and AI technologies to build innovative solutions that improve business decisions.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging business opportunities with a view to positioning the sales resource and technical capability accordingly.
- Streamlining processes, procedures, KPIs and reporting across the group.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in related industry leading a commercial team with a strong track record of success in a senior leadership role
- Have a strong experience within consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and manage senior level relationships, public relations and business development. Also strong commercial understanding in the online or offline retail business with relevant industry contacts
- Be capable of understanding strategic challenges in this segment of business and have a holistic view on sales, marketing, customer success and customer experience.
- Extensive experience in developing, implementing, and managing strategic commercial plans and rapid growth strategies
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced work environment by managing priorities with short deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to drive and manage cross-functional teams and cross-cultural stakeholders
