Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer combines brand standards, color theory, graphic elements, and typography to engage the audience. They have a strong background in design theory, hands-on skills in the latest version of Adobe Creative Suite, and a portfolio that spans various styles and industries. They design (or create) graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, logos, or imagery for print and digital uses including banner ads, social media posts, website graphics, magazine advertorials, etc.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with an agency, group, firm, or organization to produce effective campaigns for ads.
- Work closely with clients and companies to convey a message using type, photography, illustration, and color
- Work within several media, such as in print or Web
- Research trends to see what works for customers
- Adhere to strict deadlines
- Plan a new project or ad campaign
- Create eye-catching advertisements or a memorable theme
- Edit and manipulate ad presentation according to client specifications communicate with management or clients in order to determine the appropriate direction of a project
