Sr. QA Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLES
The main goal of QA engineers is to prevent defects. Quality Control specialists, in their turn, analyze the test results and find mistakes. They are responsible for identifying and eliminating defects in a product (or, in other words, these engineers make sure that developers get the results they expect).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and clarification of requirements with a customer or a business analyst and provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Develop, document and maintain manual/automated test scripts, test cases, defect tracking and reports
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Maintain the test documentation
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
- Communicating with Quality Control about existing defects and how to prevent them in future products
REQUIREMENT
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Ability to work under tight time constraints with dynamic requirements
- Experience in automation test frameworks
- Be excited about automation and building tools to help do your job and assist the rest of the team
- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
- Knowledge Project management and Bug tracking tools like JiraKnowledge of Version Control : GitHub, GitLab
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
