Forum for Rural Welfare and Agricultural Reform for Development (FORWARD Nepal), a National NGO founded in 1997, and working in the fields of Food and Nutrition Security, Livelihoods, Natural Resource Management and Climate Change Adaptation/DRR, invites application from interested candidates for the following positions for its Head Office and for the upcoming projects. 1. Program Coordinator/Program Manager. Required Number – One. Qualification: M.Sc. in agriculture or M.Sc. in related subjects with minimum of five years’ experience in the relevant fields and similar positions.

Brief TORs: The incumbent will be extensively involved in project identification, proposals development and exploring them for external funding, coordination and networking with national and international organizations, organizing meetings and workshop within and outside organization, and providing managerial and technical support and guidance to program/project teams for project planning and formulation, implementation and reporting. The selected candidate will also plan and conduct periodic field visits/supervision and monitoring of the project activities and reporting. Since this is a senior position, the candidates should have confident and abilities in project designing and an excellent reporting skill.

2. Account/Finance Officer – one. Qualification: B.B.S. with at least five years or M.B.S. or equivalent with three years of working experience preferably in the NGO sectors. Candidates having a good practical skill in bookkeeping and administrative services are encouraged to apply. Candidate with the capacity of overall handling of finance and administration of the organization with a proven track record of working in the similar organizations will have additional advantage.

All candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English and Nepali languages together with computer skills. Likewise, possession of a license for the motorbike/vehicle is desirable.

Contract period: These positions are initially for one/two years contract with the possibility of extension on mutual consent of the employer and employees. However, candidates with the long-term commitment to work in the organization will be preferred.
