Key Objective
Management of overall financial resources needed for the organization and fulfilling statutory, regulatory, and obligatory requirements of the government of Nepal.
Qualification and Experience
- Master’s Degree in relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of work experience in a related field.
Required Skills/ Competencies
- Experienced in bookkeeping, strong background and work experience in Finance.
- Knowledge of tax and other compliance implications.
- Strong experience in income statement analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing and interpreting financial information.
- Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.
- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Assist in conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Managing company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
- Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
- Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts (auditors, lawyers, banks etc.).
- Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
- Monitor the budgets management, and supervising staff.
- Performing the tasks related to payroll, VAT, taxation & online taxation.
- Keeping side by side changes in financial regulations and legislation.
- Other tasks as assigned.
