PRODUCTION IN-CHARGE-2 POSITIONS
Work Stations: Semari, Rupandehi -[Goenka Steel Pvt. Ltd.] -1 Position
Nawalparasi -[Siddhivinayak Steel Pvt. Ltd.] -1Position
Responsibilities:
- Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day Factory/Plants operations increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs
- Taking full responsibility for production output, product quality and on-time shipping of all Steel products maintaining NS and other international quality standards, allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results including monitoring entire operations, collecting/analyzing data and trigger corrective actions against waste/overtime etc.
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
- Ensure the safety of all employees; lead a comprehensive safety program to prevent injuries to staffs/equipment/Plant complying with all local environmental and safety regulations
- Support sales and marketing efforts to enhance customer satisfaction by responding to customer complaints focusing on quality of the products
- Coordinate with HR to estimate, plan, recruit, hire, train, guide, exit and maintain relations with all staffs, as applicable to smoothly run Factories/Plants as per Strategic Planning, Monthly/Weekly/Daily workforce scheduling and implementation of strict measures to optimize resource/capacity utilization
- Conduct in-depth reviews and analysis of all project or contract documents so as to be familiar with every detail and/or requirements, ensure regular generation of the stock report as well as the production and consumption report for analysis and submission of MIS and costing reports to Management
- Ensure tracking of orders and verification for the availability of stock. In case stock is not available, then ensure that the rolling plan is prepared
- Preparation of the predictive, preventive and scheduled maintenance plans to ensure minimum downtime and enhance equipment reliability coordinating effectively with mechanical and electrical departments for maintenance activities including analysis of repetitive breakdowns is undertaken and plan corrective and preventive steps necessary for improvement
- Procurement planning and inventory management of spare parts, raw materials that are required so as to ensure zero stop pages with inter-departmental coordination, supervision of the dispatch planning/logistics management for material
- Quality Inspection of mechanical and chemical properties of steel as per order and make changes in the rolling temperature including performing any related works as directed by the Management
Qualifications and Requirement:
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical/Process/Metallurgical Engineering and Management
- 5+ years of working experience in Steel Plants
- Must have Driving License
