Gramin Mahila Sirjanshil Pariwar (GMSP) a Nepalese NGO is implementing “Nepal Earthquake Recovery Program’’ – project in Sindhupalchok District in Partnership with OXFAM. GMSP works on WASH, Livelihood, Shelter, Gender and Protection. GMSP invites application from qualified and experienced Nepali citizens for the following position:

Experience: Comprehensive knowledge and a minimum 2 years of experience social sector
Educational: Bachelor’s Degree in social science / gender studies or equivalent and Master degree is preferable.

Job Specification
- Strong computer literacy, experience in using Excel Spreadsheets and experience.
- Strong planning, analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Good social mobilization, motivation and community sensitization skills.
- Good communication, reporting and documentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Sensitivity to the needs and priorities of disadvantaged population particularly women and children.
Job Description
- Implementation of gender standalone and mainstreaming activities.
- Take lead to organize district- community level training, workshop and meetings.
- Prepare & submit the final concept notes, monthly report and progress report by coordinating with the Gender Assistant.
- To ensure that gender specific indicator and activities are developed in all programs
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor process and outputs ensuring that all opportunities for gender.
- Perform other tasks as necessary in agreement with reporting manager as required.
- To orient the program team about Gender Induction as per the organization and partner rules and policies.
- To compare the budget and expenditure on monthly basis.
- To advice the program team as per the changing gender and social inclusion issuespolicies.
