Handicap International Federation, operating as Humanity & Inclusion (HI) Nepal invites applications from qualified Nepali candidates for the following vacant positions for its Health Systems Strengthening project.
1.
Position Title: Physiotherapist
No. of Vacancy: 1
Work Station: Rasuwa District Hospital, Rasuwa
Contract Duration: 2 years initially
Job Description:
• Deliver safe and appropriate comprehensive rehabilitation/ physiotherapy interventions in accordance with international rehabilitation standards and professional ethics
• Work collaboratively with the medical, paramedical, nursing and community based rehabilitation workers and fellow physiotherapist at hospital, PHCCs and others as per local context.
Job Specification:
Qualification: Bachelor in Physical Therapy
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of practical experience in physical rehabilitation set up or hospitals.
Attributes: Knowledge on health system of Nepal. Ability to coordinate and negotiate with local governing authorities and other stakeholders

Position Title: Social Worker
No. of Vacancy: 1
Work Station: Nuwakot District Hospital, Nuwakot
Contract Duration: 2 Years initially
Job Description:
• Support for social protection and rights promotion from harmonious relationship among patients, care takers, family members, clinical professionals, physiotherapist, hospital administration, public/private social service providers.
• Keep linkages with concerned stakeholders (DDCs, VDCs, DHOs, DPHOS, Hospital Development Committees, Health Facility Management and operation Committees, Private agencies) for disability card and other provision as appropriate
Job Specification:
Qualification: Minimum Intermediate degree in Social Sciences with CMA or ANM or PGD in Psychology
Experience: 1-2 years in health and CBR and social work preferably in rural community
Attributes: Knowledge in maternal child health, Psychosocial, social protection and Community Based Rehabilitation.
