JOB OPPORTUNITY
Reintegration of Returnee Migrant Workers (ReMi) project is a bilateral initiative of Governments of Nepal and Switzerland. The project contributes to the social and economic reintegration of returnee migrant workers in Nepal. The project is implemented by Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security; provincial line ministries and local governments in province one and Madhesh Province. Helvetas Nepal invites applications from committed and experienced Nepali citizens for the following positions:
1. Position: Program Officer – Economic Reintegration (1)
Job Purpose: This position will support Social and Economic Reintegration Specialist to contribute to overall accomplishment project objectives and targets, with a specific focus on economic reintegration. S/he will support local governments to implement the project in close collaboration with Employment Service Centres and support them to develop and implement reintegration strategies, guidelines, yearly plans of operation, and allocate funds in coordinated manner. The incumbent will also support project monitoring, evaluation, documentation and reporting, lead in mobilization and capacity building of network/cooperatives to provide sustained reintegration services to returned migrant workers, their families and their respective communities.
Required Education, Experience and Social Competence:
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, economics, development cooperation or in any relevant discipline. Minimum 3 years of working experience in a project/ programme implementation in the sector of entrepreneurship development and employment promotion. Experience working with local governments (Employment Service Centers (ESCs), Migration Resource Centers, and returnee migrant networks), will be an added value. 2. Position: Finance and Administrative Officer (1)
Job Purpose: This position ensures proper implementation of financial and administrative management of the project at province level. S/he will ensure that HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal and other relevant policies and procedures are applied in each transition. The incumbent will also support Finance and Administrative Manger in budgeting, fund flow and compiling financial and audit reports from respective partners, provincial line ministries and local governments.
Required Education, Experience and Social Competence:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Management, Commerce. Minimum 3 years of working experience in finance/accounting in the similar position . Experience working on Public Financial Management with provincial and local government will be an added value. Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion, and poverty reduction.

Minimum 3 years of working experience in implementation of social protection, gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) or safer migration. Experience working with local governments, on gender-based violence, mental health & psychosocial support or case management will be an added value. Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion, and poverty reduction.
Duty Station: ReMi Provincial/Field Office, Madhesh Province
Duration for all positions: 3 years with possibility of extension
