The Commis Chef – Pastry/Bakery is responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt’s corporate strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or completed three years’ chef apprenticeship.
- Two years’ work experience in a related field is preferred.
- Candidates with good practical and operational skills, and a flair for creativity, will be given preference.
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices, occupational health and food safety standards.
- Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
