Position: Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI)Advisor
Number of Vacancies: 1
Job Location: Lalitpur
Summary of Job Purpose:
The position will work closely with the program, operations and monitoring and evaluation teams on the design, planning and implementation of an integrated GESI approach to programming. The advisor will ensure strategic GESI engagement with team leaders and close coordination across all project components.
Description
Educational qualifications and experiences:
• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences or other relevant subjects with experience in the health, agriculture or social sectors with specific work experience in applying GESI approaches to address issues and challenges in programming to achieve greater equity.
• The position requires the ability to analyze and translate learning into strategies for transformative change; and the ability to work together with local governments and other partners to design and implement action plans based on GESI policy and guidelines at different levels of governance in Nepal
