Nepal Hydro & Electric Limited (NHE) is a leading Company involved in Hydro and Electro mechanical equipment
including HV substations, manufacturing and installation & repair for hydro & electric sector. NHE is seeking self-confident, dynamic and result oriented individuals for the following position:
Project Accountant (JSB – NHE Consortium)
Level: V or VI
Number of Vacancies: 1
Duty Station: Butwal/Projects site as per requirements
Age: Below 30 years
Major Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for all the accounts related works, budgeting, revenue, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, payables, receivables, other accounting documents of the project (JSB – NHE Consortium).
2. Responsible to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
3. Statutory matters related to Income Tax, VAT, Customs, LC and other similar matters.
4. Dealing with banks relating to withdraw, deposit, fund transfer including all the documentation.
5. Dealing with customer relating to their accounts.
6. Responsible for the payment of salaries and wages to the staff and workers.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com/BBS/BBA) from recognized University/Institute.
Experience: At least 3 years work experience in related field. Candidates having an exposure of accounting in Industrial Project sector/Joint Venture (JV) account will be added advantage.
Required skills and Knowledge:
1. Knowledge in accounting systems and procedures.
2. Knowledge on Accounting Software and MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel)
3. Knowledge on Tax, VAT, Banking, LCs, Bank Guarantees, Account Reconciliations, etc.
