REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) TO PARTNERSHIP WITH HUMAN PRACTICE FOUNDATION

Human Practice Foundation (HPF) has been working in Nepal since 2017, implementing education, health and income generation interventions. Within Nepal, HPF is currently working in Taplejung district and soon expanding its work in Dhankuta district. The core focus of our work is to offer comprehensive package to the schools in education aimed at improving educational performance of public schools. Alongside, HPF also works with the schools, health facilities and communities in the area of diabetes and NCD prevention and treatment.
I. Purpose:
HPF invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified NGOs which are working with or have substantial experience and expertise in the area of diabetes and NCDs prevention, and behaviour change. The purpose of this partnership is to provide diabetes testing equipment support to government health facilities along with training to the Health Facilities’ staff and female community health volunteers in the area of diabetes prevention and behaviour change aspects. The project area will be Taplejung and Dhankuta districts.
The organizations which will partner with HPF are required to be with active grass root anchoring, demonstrated experience and expertise in diabetes and NCDs prevention in the rural areas of Nepal. Such experience and expertise must align with the organisational vision, mission and objectives.

II. Requirements and Application
Organisation that fulfil all legal requirements with substantial working experience in the area of Diabetes and NCDs prevention and behaviour change, and are interested to work in partnership with HPF in Taplejung and Dhankuta districts are requested to submit their profile to HPF Country Office at [email protected] with copy to [email protected] in the prescribed format which can be downloaded here. As this is a short natured small activity based needing more of hands on expertise, HPF is looking forward to have only an organisation as a partner.

Note: This EOI is only for the partnership work for the implementation of in-part activities related to Diabetes Prevention and behaviour change component, and need specific experience and expertise in the said field. Organisations not having particular experience in the said field neednot to apply. Telephone enquiries after the submission of the EOI will not be entertained. Issuance of this EOI does not constitute an award or commitment on the part of the HPF, nor does it commit HPF to pay for the costs incurred in the preparation and submission of EOI and/or application. Only short listed organizations will be contacted for the further process. HPF is not committed contractually in any way to those applicants whose EOI are accepted.
