The Opportunity

As Executive Office Advisor you will provide high quality, strategic and politically attuned advise to the to the CEO and Plan International senior leadership on external priority issues, position statements and external and internal communications activities

You will also be responsible for oversight, planning and operational support for the CEO’s engagement with external stakeholders, develops CEO speech and briefs, and manages the CEO’s internal and external communications

In this role you will work across global functions to source technical narratives to further the CEO’s engagement agenda to create and implement powerful content that contributes to engagement and helps communicate our vision and our culture.

The Individual

With proven expertise providing strategic and analytical support to senior management and/or governance bodies you will have advanced interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills and the capacity to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will need to have relevant experience in executive decision-making teams within international or multilateral environments. As well as demonstrable experience of speech writing and internal/external communications.

Capable of adapting quickly to changing priorities, flexible and with the ability to process information quickly and provide creative solutions you will work both independently and collaboratively as required.

Location: This role will ideally be based in the UK, employed from the Global Hub for Plan International which is based in Woking, Surrey however other locations where Plan International has an office* that can employ on behalf of the Global Hub and you have the pre-existing right to work and live may be considered. You may be office, home or hybrid based

Type of Role: Permanent or maximum fixed-term contract as per employing office’s standard terms and conditions.

Salary: We will be happy to disclose the salary and applicable benefits to applicants as part of this process, however, please kindly note that this will vary according to the location of the appointed candidate and therefore it is not possible to include full details here. As an indication if this role was based in the UK the salary would be circa £45,000 per annum
