Project Manager
About the role
The purpose of the role is to manage overall project on Community Centric landslide Early Warning in Bagmati Province of Nepal.
- The project focuses on ensuring effective, efficient and transparent planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and communication across the Practical Action team – in line with the requirements of the DFAT/Australian Embassy.
- Overseeing and coordinating effective delivery, ensure quality based on Programme Quality and Delivery Framework (PQD) of the Practical Action Project.
About you
- You have willingness and enthusiasm to work in challenging and difficult situations and with vulnerable communities.
- You have an experience of leading a project and managing finance and human resources.
- You have experience of working with multi-stakeholders, multi-country institutions and with government organizations.
- You have knowledge and experience on multi-hazards early warning system (specifically in landslide early warning systems), risk and vulnerability assessment would be added advantage.
