Graphic Designer – Intern
Location: Tikathali, Lalitpur
Type: Paid Internship
Term: 3 months
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and creative Graphic Designer-Intern to join our dynamic team working for the promotion of School Mental Health in Nepal. The intern will work under the supervision and coordinate with marketing and communication department.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare images (Retouch and manipulate) to coincide with social media and blog posts;
- Design and Develop design concepts, graphic communication, social media posts and promotional materials; digital and print by brainstorming with team members and using his/her knowledge or skills;
- Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline;
- Come up with fresh creative ideas and concepts for and on behalf of the company;
- Assist HR and communication team to design and develop promotional contents;
- Assist in designing and updating our Website, and organizing Social Media Platforms;
- Assist with other graphic design needs as required.
REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS:
- Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals;
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, but not compulsory;
- Preferred degree of study in marketing, advertising, graphic design, or closely related field;
- Experience of Graphic Design Software – Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and/or other design applications;
- Basic WordPress and digital marketing will be a plus point;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ideal candidate will be energetic, task-oriented, and creative with strong work ethic and positive attitude
