Associate Director- Field Program

Brief Description

Responsible to manage large and complex projects covering multiple districts, staff, government and local partners; Accountable for program operations primarily for Province 6 and other Districts of adjoining Provinces as required by the organization; Work and supervise 20+ Partner NGOs, 10 government agencies and various civil society organizations, journalists and local leaders for effective implementation of multiple projects and themes

Eligibility

A Master’s degree or equivalent in Management or related Social Science; At least ten years (seven years for GS,* group) of experience in leading and managing overall project/program at managerial portfolio preferably at international agencies

Procurement Coordinator – Consultancy

Brief Description

Responsible for Save the Children’s consultant hiring process in the Country Office and providing support to the field offices’ consultant hiring. S/He will coordinate and facilitate Consultancy Policy review/revision, development/update Annual Consultancy Plan. maintain Consultants’ Roster, and manage end-to-end consultant hiring process

Eligibility

A Master’s degree in Management or equivalent; At least three years (two years for GSI* group) Supply Chain management with consultant hiring experience

Project Coordinator-Newborn, SNL Required No.: 1 (One)

Term & Location: Fixed term until January 2019 with possible extension; based in Surkhet

Brief Description

Work closely with Strengthening Systems for Better Health team to leverage the expertise of each other and ensure focus on Newborn Health is prioritized and monitored well within Karnali Province. Working closely with other technical team members, she/he will coordinate with Social Development Ministry and its health department and sections looking after maternal, newborn child health (or appropriate authorities) at provincial level and other development partners

Eligibility

A Master’s degree in Medicine or Nursing or Public Health with experience in maternal, newborn and child health sector; At least three years (two years forGSI* group) of experience in related roles and responsibilities and experience working with sub-national stakeholders in health

Surveillance Medical Coordinator- Global Fund, Malaria Program Required No.:1 (One)

Term & Location: Fixed term until January 2019 with possible extension; based in ButwaLWestern Field Office

Brief Description

Responsible for implementation of malaria program at the regional level. He/She will be responsible for active case finding surveillance, fever survey, mass blood survey and screening of submicroscopic cases. He/she will also support national Malaria program in G6PD screening survey,development of malaria treatment protocol, therapeutic efficacy study and other malaria elimination activities at the regional level

Eligibility

An MBBS degree, preferably with a Master’s degree in Public Health or Community Medicine or Tropical Medicine or any other related health or management degree; At least three years (two years for GSI* group) of relevant work experience in the field of community health or working with government partners
