Social Development Centre (SDC) Mahottari is non-political and non-profitable NGO established in 1997 by a group of Terai marginalized group’s activists. Since then, SDC is fully dedicated to work in humanitarian assistance, community development, livelihood, Child Well Being, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the humanitarian and long-term development projects.

In partnership with World Vision International Nepal, SDC Mahottari is working in “Area Program Assessment and Design Project” in two Rural Municipality Ekdara Rural Municipality and Samsi Rural Municipality. SDC Mahottari is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on following positions for smooth implementation of assessment and design phase.

Position: Sponsorship Team Leader

Number of Vacancies: 1

Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any relevant field with 2 year experience

Major Responsibilities

• Manage development of local selection criteria and the registration of children for child sponsorship based on World Vision’s global standards and WVIN’s criteria of vulnerability
• Ensure Data Entry work on Horizon Systems are up –to-date as per the requirement of World Vision’s global Standards
• Prepare monthly/quarterly work plans as per the POA, facilitate and monitor the implementation of planned activities.
• Identify local level partners, support and facilitate the partnership in the implementation of planned activities.
• Innovatively support communities including RC households to participate and benefit from the WVIN programme activities and make intentional inclusion of RC families in other program economic activities. Integrate and coordinate CESP activities with other WVIN projects/organization.
• Ensure that Sponsorship Operations Indicator (SOI) reports are green and plan follow up action in case of variance.
• RC records and files are well managed, scanned and stored securely.
• Develop child monitoring plan to ensure that all RCs are physically sighted within 90 days as required by the standard.
• Maintain the target versus actual RC number with ±2% variance.
• Performance management of all Sponsorship Mobilizers.

Work: Will be required to travel at least 60% of the time

Environment: Motorcycle / Bike License is preferred.
