Guard Supervisor
Job Purpose: Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Obtain help by sounding alarms. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
Responsible to: Operations Manager
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out spot checks on duty guards according to the school expectations.
- Assist with managing security staff and report any concerns to the Operations Manager.
- Monitor the security of the school premises at all times bringing any issues to the attention of the Operations Manager.
- Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
- Create or implement security standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols.
- Supervise subordinate security professionals, performing activities such as training, assigning work, evaluating performance, or disciplining.
- Prepare daily rosters, maintain logs of their assigned activities and prepare holiday planner for the security team.
- Plan, direct, or coordinate security activities to safeguard school assets, employees, guests, or others on school property.
- Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches.
- Prepare daily duty roster plan and present it before the Operations Manager.
- Duty allocation and proper and fair work division of the security guards.
- Maintain the record keeping of overtime.

Qualifications:
- Higher Education: Essential
- Intensive Security trained: Essential
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in leading the security department: Essential

Remuneration: TBS salary Scale (National), dependent on qualifications and experience.
