United Mission to Nepal (UMN) is an international development organisation which aims to enable the poorest people living in poverty to transform their lives, leading towards fullness of life. Okhaldhunga Community Hospital (OCH) has been serving the community since it was established as a small clinic in 1962 and its public health work has been running for more than 20 years.
Position: Monitoring Evaluation And Learning (MEAL) Officer (OCH Grade 7)
Location: Okhaldhunga Community Hospital, Okhaldhunga
The main job responsibility is to establish, modify and update the monitoring, evaluation and learning systems of the OCH CBR programme.
Qualification and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Management with a monitoring and evaluation subject, or other relevant field
• Minimum of two years of experience relevant to field, including community development/community-based inclusive development
• Knowledge of Nepal’s contemporary environmental, social, economic and political issues
• Good understanding of working with people with traditional attitudes and beliefs
• Knowledge and ability in using computer-based data analysis, participatory methodologies and digital survey tools
• Good networking, facilitation, persuading and influencing skills
• Good communication skills in English language
