WHH is operational in Nepal since 2012, and currently managing different project in eight districts under three program thematic areas (sectors): food and nutrition security, right to food and empowerment, disaster risk reduction and WASH. WHH works hand in hand with civil society in Nepal to empower socially marginalized and economically poor citizens to reinforce their resilience and to ensure their right to adequate food and nutrition.
Welthungerhilfe Nepal announces vacancy for following positions:
Position: Project Coordinator (1 position)
The position is based in Kolti, Bajura district with at least 80% travel to field and manage project implementation in the district of Bajura. , The candidate will backstop and facilitate project implementation and partner in Bajura district; andfacilitate the project implementation in Mugu district and monitoring of partners. The position is responsible for reporting and MEAL system strengthening in the field, for both project districts.
Position: Field Coordinator – Mugu district (1 position)
The position is based in Majhchaur of Khatyad Rural Municipality in Mugu district with at least 80% travel to field.The candidate willbackstop and facilitate project implementation and partner in Mugu district. The position is responsible for reporting and MEAL system strengthening in the field, for both project districts
Requirements for both positions
Nepali citizen having master’s degree in agriculture, or social science or rural development or similar discipline with at least 5 years of experience in managing the food and nutrition security projects, coordinating government line agencies and project partners and monitoring and reporting.
