World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), an international Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice, is looking for potential Nepalese candidates to fill out the following position:

Position: Grants & Program Finance Coordinator (One)-based in National Office, Lalitpur

Key Responsibilities: The Grants & Program Finance Coordinator will provide financial management as well as budgeting and compliance support for Grants and Private Non Sponsorship funded projects. This position will work closely with Finance Manager/Director, Grants Acquisition Management, Operations, Support Offices and Field Team to ensure financial management of Grant Projects.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or related field with at least 3 years of experience in the field of Finance, Accounts or Grants Finance Management. MBA in Finance, MSC in Finance/Accounting/Auditing or Qualified Accountant from Professional body like CA,ACCA, CPA, CIMA is preferred. Should have solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, budget/cash flow monitoring and internal accounting controls. Should have knowledge of government grant regulations and financial reporting requirements. Experience and knowledge of major donors like USAID, DFID, AusAid, ECHO, Global Fund and UN systems is preferred. Experience of working in a computerized accounting environment (Sun Systems, Vision XL & Executive, others) is preferred.

Core competencies for the position: Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Nepali; demonstrated proficiency in computer applications including use of microsoft office tools and design softwares; should have influencing and coaching skills (ability to work with influence at different levels in the organisation); Facilitation and Presentation skills is essential; ability to work independently and as an active team player; should be self-motivated and have a high level of integrity and honesty; be willing to work under pressure; be creative and innovative with decision making and problem solving
