Job Description:
Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Management Coordinator, the SCM Officer will assist in compiling, documenting scheduling, and inputting data or information in the provided systems. The role includes supporting the SCM management team to compile and consolidate multi-sector programs as well as the long-term programming under the WFO. This position will also ensure quality documentation and compliance and maintain a good relationship with internal and external stakeholders in regard to data and information management.
This position will closely review documents to ensure quality and donor compliance throughout reviewing the documents, and to deliver high-quality reporting and communications. Database management, analysis, compilation and documentation, scheduling, and ensuring the reporting timelines are met by NGOs.
This role supports the Supply Chain Management team for the smooth day-to-day functions of the Supply Chain unit. S/he will provide support in information collection and analysis, administrative tasks including meetings, training and workshop planning, and preparing discussion notes and tracking of the programme implementation.
The role requires data analysis as well as organizational, time management, and relationship management skills, coupled with dynamic coordination capabilities to drive results across various stakeholders.
Required Professional Experience
- Self-starter who can work independently under pressure
- Minimum of 3 years experience in relief and development work.
- Experience in development project management, especially in the roles of technical support to local partners.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or similar degree, or equivalent professional qualification.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Good fluency in using digital platforms
- Work experience in world vision in the relevant area is preferred.
